Your pilots have logged a combined total of over 25000 flight hours in more than 75 different types of aircraft. Those who know them say that Josh, Chris, and Chad may well have AV gas in their blood.
On days when not piloting this Taperwing throughout North America, Josh flies international cargo in a Boeing 747 freighter.
Chris, a pilot by trade but an artist at heart, with his wife, Heather, operate Gratiot House Farm in Shullsburg, WI.
When Josh and Chris were 18 years old, the duo made a cross-country trip. The Sonoma, California McDonalds sponsored their coast-to-coast flight in a 1947 Piper Cub. It was over 120 hours of flight time and the beginning of a real love affair with aviation. The gypsy spirit embodied – a map and a Whiskey compass -they circled the Statue of Liberty and the Golden Gate bridge.
Also an artisan, Chad is a world-renown prop builder and antique aircraft and glider restorer. He can be contacted at St. Croix Air in Corning, IA.
